About Power Development Consulting
Power Development Consulting has been in business since 1979 and, over this time, we have changed our focus a number of times so as to take full advantage of our unique skill-set and also to offer the market what we believe they are looking for. This has led us into many interesting projects, all of which have been successfully completed.
Since 2003 our focus has moved to an area of business that we believe is the future, namely OLAP based data-mining and data warehousing.
Brandon Greyling
The principal of Power Development Consulting is Brandon Greyling who has operated in numerous operational roles in the commercial sector for many years.
He began his career in the Accounting sector and, despite a tempting offer of a potential partnership with what was then Price Waterhouse, he chose to move into the commercial sector.
During his career he has run a number of large companies and has been responsible for significant growth in all of them. His attitude to a hands-on approach has led him into many interesting and varied assignments.
Brandon Greyling - Previous Assignments
- Building management teams in all areas of business
- Spending time in Europe learning how to build air-conditioning units for commercial buildings and then launching the products in Australia after setting up production, developing computer programmes for design and selection, producing sales and marketing materials and all factory costings and pricings. The net result was a market-share growth from under 3% to over 60% within six months for this company
- Developing and writing a full production flow and control programmes
- Working for the chairman of a large listed company as the company fix-it man
- Production procedures and improvements in the cosmetic, footwear, engineering and fashion industries
- Heading numerous Special project teams in a number of different areas of business
- Company and Financial restructures
- Property portfolio control, including negotiations etc (previously a qualified Real Estate Agent)
He is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is rated an being in the top 1.25% in Australia in all three areas of Logical, Lateral and Analytical.
